The Taranaki region offers ample horse riding opportunities in many local areas.
Following are are couple of popular equestrian choices for the GSNZ community: Clearwater Riding School, Egmont Village Riding School, Warea Stables and if you have your own pony or horse, there are the following Pony Clubs: Oakura Pony Club, New Plymouth Pony Club, Egmont Village Pony Club and Waitara Pony Club.
There are also a host of local trainers and nationwide competitions you can attend.
Whilst we do not offer riding lessons on campus, learners have been known to enjoy the occasional ride through our GSNZ campus.
