Official Recognition and University Entrance
Late last year, our independent 'Green School New Zealand High School Diploma (Advanced)' was officially accepted for University Entrance by Universities in New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara. This significant milestone means our diploma is recognized for its rigorous academic standards and innovative approach to education.
“To think that we’d be able to achieve this just a few years after starting a school in the middle of a paddock is incredibly rewarding. Alongside the passion and drive of our staff, we also had some wonderful consultants who helped make it happen.”
First Graduates and Their Achievements
In 2023, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our first cohort. These graduates had the exciting opportunity to pursue higher education at prestigious institutions:
Engineering at AUT: One Alumni was offered places at both of New Zealand’s leading engineering programs and chose to attend AUT Top 1% of universities world-wide.
Marine Studies at Toi Ohomai: Another student is completing a Diploma Environmental Management in Marine Studies in the Bay of Plenty, Tauranga Toi Ohomai.
Bachelor of Climate Change at Waikato University: Another graduate is studying a Bachelor of Climate Change, majoring in Strategic Management at Waikato University.
