Admissions

Register your interest

The first step is to make an inquiry or register your interest through our website. By starting the process, you are not committed to continue with your enrolment application. A child’s enrolment is a mutual decision-making process, between families and the school. As places within classes fill quickly each semester, we recommend you submit a registration of interest so that we can support you with everything you need to move forward with your application, well in advance of the beginning of a term.

International Students

We have developed a number of documents to help international families and students through their Green School journey. Please click on the documents below for further information.

Moving to
New Zealand

Green School is truly a whole family experience. The collective energy, passion, creativity, skills, knowledge and cultural diversity of our faculty, staff, parents and our local neighbours is remarkable. At Green School it is our aim to build and develop an entire community of learners, not just students.

All of our Green School students and majority of their families will live near the school campus, in Taranaki, New Zealand. Once we receive an application for enrolment, Green School is able to provide some support in moving to New Zealand. We do not provide a relocation service, but we have a community who are committed, experienced and ready to support families moving from abroad.

For more information, please feel free to submit an inquiry.

School fees

Green School welcomes inquiries and applications for enrolment from all corners of the globe. For new families applying to Green School, and for currently enrolled families, we thank you for giving us the privilege of being part of your child and family’s journey.

Being part of the Green School family is a big decision, with many factors to consider. An important element of this decision is the financial commitment. The document below sets out the fees, terms and conditions of tuition for the 2023/24 academic years. Please read this information and understand that the policies are applied consistently to all newly enrolling and continuing Green School families.

All new enrolments are subject to an application and registration fee. Please refer to the information below to understand the total cost of enrolment and tuition for your family circumstance. The admission, registration and refundable deposit are one-time payments and enrolments are confirmed only after an offer is made, accepted and tuition fees paid.

Scholarships

At Green School New Zealand we have a desire to share our unique way of learning with as many students and families as possible.

We hope that many local young people who would not normally be able to access a Green School education might be supported through philanthropic giving, and we are excited that our scholarship programme for local learners was launched early in 2021. We are expanding on this programme as our community grows and develops, and look forward to receiving scholarship applications from local Taranaki and New Zealand learners as they become available. Please keep an eye on our Scholarship page for up-to-date information regarding available scholarships, or donations.
